Welcome back to “Reviews inside tv,” your go-to place for the latest and most honest reviews on everything from gadgets to home appliances. Today, we’re looking at something that could change the way you think about cleaning – the eufy X10 Pro Omni Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo. This all-in-one cleaning machine promises to make your life easier with hands-free cleaning, and we’re about to see if it lives up to the hype. Stick around to find out if it’s the right choice for your home.

The eufy X10 Pro Omni is an advanced robot vacuum and mop combo designed to tackle both your floors and carpets with impressive efficiency. Its standout feature is its powerful 8,000 Pa suction, which promises to deep clean even the most stubborn dirt and pet hair from carpets. The system uses a unique dual mop design, featuring 180 rotations per minute and a 1 kg downward pressure to scrub your floors spotless. If you have carpets, the mops will automatically lift by 12 mm to avoid getting them wet. This unit also offers AI-powered obstacle avoidance, a self-emptying dustbin, and auto mop washing and drying to save you time. Plus, the iPath laser navigation ensures it moves around your home in the most efficient way possible. But does all this tech translate into a better cleaning experience? Let’s dive in.

When it comes to using the eufy X10 Pro Omni, setup is straightforward. After unboxing, you’ll need to place the robot and the station in a central location. The app, which is available for both Android and iOS, guides you through the connection process with ease. Once it’s connected to your Wi-Fi, the vacuum is ready to go. The vacuum itself is designed to handle cleaning on various surfaces, from hardwood floors to carpets, and I tested it across all these environments. For hardwood, it did an excellent job of picking up dust and debris, and on carpets, the 8,000 Pa suction did not disappoint, easily lifting pet hair and dirt. However, the most impressive part was the mop feature. It was able to tackle sticky stains and left my floors sparkling clean with minimal effort. The dual mops, rotating at 180 RPM with a solid 1 kg of pressure, really made a difference. I did notice, however, that while it lifts the mop on carpets, it sometimes missed a small spot near the edge where the carpet meets the hardwood.

As for the cleaning experience, I love the hands-off approach this device provides. The auto-empty function worked seamlessly. After each cleaning cycle, the dustbin empties into a 2.5L dust bag that only needs replacing every two months, which is a huge convenience. The mops, after cleaning, are washed with clean water and dried with a 45°C heated air system, so you never have to worry about dirty or damp mop pads. It all felt very automated and futuristic, which is exactly what you want from a robot vacuum. The obstacle avoidance worked remarkably well too. I tested it by placing a variety of obstacles – wires, shoes, toys – in its path, and it navigated around everything with ease, even in low light, thanks to its advanced AI system.

But, of course, no product is perfect. While the eufy X10 Pro Omni performs well in many areas, there are a few minor drawbacks. The vacuum is slightly louder than some others I’ve tested, especially when operating at full suction power. It’s not unbearable, but it’s definitely noticeable. Another thing to consider is the limitation on Wi-Fi connection; the vacuum only supports 2.4GHz networks, so if you have a 5GHz-only setup, you’ll need to adjust your settings. Additionally, while the mop lifts when it detects carpet, I noticed that it didn’t always align perfectly with certain low-profile rugs, which could be an issue if you have a lot of these types of carpets.

Now, let’s talk about value for money. The eufy X10 Pro Omni is priced on the higher end for robot vacuums, but given its extensive features, it does offer solid value. Competing models, like the Roomba i7+ or the Roborock S7, offer similar capabilities but often at a higher price. What stands out about the eufy X10 Pro Omni is its combination of vacuum and mop, paired with the self-cleaning and self-emptying features. However, if you’re on a tighter budget, there are more affordable options available that may meet your needs without all the bells and whistles.

In terms of comparisons, the eufy X10 Pro Omni stacks up quite well against some of its direct competitors. If you’re looking for something with AI-powered navigation and obstacle avoidance, the Roborock S7 is a great alternative. However, the eufy offers a more affordable option while still delivering powerful suction and smart features. On the flip side, if you’re specifically looking for a robot that only vacuums, there are cheaper options, such as the Shark IQ Robot, which doesn’t come with the mop functionality but does provide excellent cleaning power.

As for build quality, eufy has a reputation for crafting reliable products, and the X10 Pro Omni is no exception. It’s solidly built with a durable plastic housing and a weight that feels reassuringly substantial without being too heavy. The vacuum moves easily over surfaces, and I expect it to hold up well over time with regular maintenance. While there’s no long-term data available on this specific model, eufy’s reputation for quality assures me it should last for a good while, especially with the self-maintaining features like the auto mop washing and drying.

Customer support from eufy has generally been positive. In the past, eufy has been known for responsive and helpful service, though I haven’t needed to interact with them directly for this product yet. The app, however, does offer great customer support in terms of troubleshooting and settings adjustments, so you can easily find solutions to most problems yourself.

To wrap things up, the eufy X10 Pro Omni offers a compelling package with powerful suction, effective mopping, and advanced smart features like AI obstacle avoidance and self-cleaning. It’s an excellent option if you’re looking for a high-tech robot that takes the work out of home cleaning. While it has a few minor quirks, such as occasional issues with low-profile rugs and a louder-than-usual operation, these don’t detract from its overall performance. If you’re willing to invest in a product that handles both vacuuming and mopping with ease, the X10 Pro Omni could be a great choice for you.
