Welcome to Reviews inside tv! If you’re new here, thanks for tuning in. If you’re already a subscriber, welcome back! Today, we’re diving into the DREAME L10s Ultra Gen 2 Robot Vacuum and Mop—a highly advanced cleaning system designed to tackle both vacuuming and mopping with ease. But does it live up to the hype? Let’s find out.

To start off, the DREAME L10s Ultra Gen 2 combines a powerful 10,000Pa suction with a sophisticated mop system, making it a versatile tool for deep cleaning. One of its standout features is its Vormax Suction, which ensures deep cleaning while its floating rubber brush detangles hair with ease. It also incorporates a DuoScrub Mopping System, which features two high-speed rotary mops that scrub stubborn dirt under pressure, making sure no spill or stain is left behind. And for those with pets, there’s a specialized pet-friendly mode that customizes the cleaning to effectively manage pet hair and dirt.

This robot vacuum’s auto-empty feature, which can go for up to 75 days with its large dust bag and 300mL dust box, is another selling point. Plus, it boasts automatic mop washing, cleaning solution addition, and water refills, all through its dedicated base station. In terms of navigation, the L10s Ultra Gen 2 uses advanced Smart Pathfinder and 3DAdapt Technology, ensuring precise mapping, intelligent pathing, and obstacle avoidance. It can even tailor its cleaning to your carpet type, recognizing when a deeper clean is needed.

So how does it hold up in real-world testing? Setting up the L10s Ultra Gen 2 was incredibly straightforward. Connecting it to the app was seamless, and the mapping process was quick. Once it started cleaning, the robot moved efficiently around my home, navigating under furniture and along edges where dirt often hides. One of its most impressive features was its carpet recognition—on thick carpets, it adjusted the suction and mop settings automatically, ensuring optimal performance. The ability to clean pet areas with customized settings also made it ideal for homes with furry friends.

However, there are a couple of areas where the L10s Ultra Gen 2 could improve. While the vacuum did an excellent job cleaning most surfaces, there were a few instances where its navigation could’ve been a bit more precise around tight corners. Also, while the mop system works effectively, it still requires a certain amount of maintenance—like refilling the water tank—though the automated system helps reduce this burden.

Now, let’s break down the pros and cons.

Pros:

The 10,000Pa suction power is robust, making it effective on both hard floors and carpets.

The DuoScrub Mopping System does an excellent job on stubborn stains, with its dual rotary mops.

Smart Pathfinder and 3DAdapt Technology make navigation precise and efficient.

Pet-friendly mode ensures that pet hair and areas are thoroughly cleaned.

The auto-empty feature is a game-changer for convenience, with up to 75 days between emptying.

The base station’s self-cleaning system is an incredibly convenient touch.

Cons:

Navigation could be more precise in tight corners or around small furniture.

The mop system, while effective, requires occasional maintenance (refilling water and detergent).

The base station is large, which could be an issue for those with limited space.

So, is it worth the price? In terms of performance, build quality, and the extensive features it offers, the DREAME L10s Ultra Gen 2 provides solid value for money. While it’s not the cheapest robot vacuum on the market, the comprehensive cleaning system and automation justify the cost—especially if you’re looking for a machine that can handle both vacuuming and mopping.

When compared to other models, like the Roborock S7 or iRobot Roomba Combo J7+, the L10s Ultra Gen 2 holds its own with superior suction power and a more robust mopping system. While the S7 excels in mopping, the L10s Ultra Gen 2 offers a more powerful vacuuming experience and the added benefit of a larger dust bag and more extensive pet care features.

Build quality-wise, the L10s Ultra Gen 2 is well-constructed, with durable materials used throughout. The base station, although large, is solid, and the vacuum itself feels sturdy enough for long-term use. I haven’t had it long enough to speak definitively about its longevity, but first impressions indicate it’s built to last.

Customer support for Dreame is generally well-regarded, but I haven’t personally had to interact with them for this product. Based on the brand’s reputation, though, you can expect decent customer service if needed.

If you’re looking for alternatives, the Roborock S7 is a solid option for those prioritizing mopping, and the Ecovacs Deebot T10+ offers similar features at a lower price point, though it lacks some of the advanced suction power.

To sum it up: The DREAME L10s Ultra Gen 2 is a feature-rich, powerful robot vacuum and mop that excels in cleaning performance. Its intelligent pathfinding, powerful suction, and versatile carpet care make it an ideal choice for many households, especially those with pets. While it has some minor navigation quirks and requires occasional maintenance, its strengths far outweigh these small flaws.
