Reviews Inside

Privacy and cookies

How ReviewsInside handles enquiries, website security, optional videos and privacy requests.

ReviewsInside, established in the United States, is the legal owner of ReviewsInside.com and the controller responsible for the personal information described here. This notice covers reading our website, contacting us and choosing optional videos.

Contact and privacy requests

Use our contact form and select “Privacy request” for questions or requests about your information. Include enough information to identify the relevant enquiry. Please do not send passwords, financial account details or unnecessary sensitive information. We may ask for proportionate verification to protect your information. The address contact@reviewsinside.com is our outbound sending address; use the form to reach us.

Information we process and why

When you contact us, we receive your name, reply email, enquiry type and message. We use these to respond, investigate corrections and handle privacy requests. Cloudflare Email Service delivers the enquiry to our private Google Gmail inbox. Only the operator has access to read enquiry emails. The form handler does not separately save your message in the website article database or content storage.

Delivering and protecting pages involves connection and request information, including IP address, requested address, timing, browser/device information and security signals. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile: its verification token and your connecting IP are sent to Cloudflare for abuse checks. A salted IP-derived rate counter limits repeated submissions. This counter is pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity.

Our legal bases

Where EU/EEA or UK GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests to answer enquiries, investigate corrections, operate a reliable website and prevent spam and abuse. These interests are balanced against visitors’ privacy: we limit the information requested, restrict inbox access, use a short-lived rate counter and allow objections. We rely on your consent for optional YouTube loading and associated non-essential device storage/access where required. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. We assess any specific legal duty separately before retaining or disclosing information for that duty.

Retention and deletion

Enquiry emails are deleted manually; there is no fixed automatic deletion period. We retain them while needed to answer the enquiry, complete agreed follow-up or corrections, or meet a specific documented legal or dispute-related need. The operator reviews whether that need continues and manually deletes messages when it ends. You can request deletion through the contact form; applicable legal exceptions may limit a request. Removing messages from the inbox does not guarantee immediate erasure from providers’ backup or security systems.

The contact rate counter expires one hour after it is written. Persistent Workers Logs are disabled for the main launch website Worker. The separate contact-form Worker records invocation and diagnostic information; Cloudflare documents seven-day Workers Logs retention for the Workers Paid plan used here. There are no configured Workers log export destinations or Logpush for either Worker. These periods do not describe email retention or Cloudflare’s separate hosting/security records. See Cloudflare’s Workers Logs information and privacy policy for its processing.

Providers and international processing

Cloudflare supplies website delivery, hosting, storage, security, Turnstile and email sending. Google Gmail supplies the enquiry mailbox. These providers process information to supply their services and may also process information for purposes described in their own notices. Their role depends on the service and applicable terms; we do not describe every activity as processing solely on our instructions.

ReviewsInside is established in the United States, and these providers operate internationally. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where their services operate; we do not promise that all processing stays in one country. Cloudflare publishes a Data Processing Addendum describing processor terms and international-transfer provisions where applicable. Google describes its processing and transfer framework in its privacy policy. These links explain provider frameworks and do not assert that every mechanism applies to every processing activity or that ReviewsInside has a separately verified certification. Use the contact form to ask about the applicable arrangements or safeguards for your information.

Cookies, videos and advertising

This launch version does not load advertising or analytics trackers. Security checks are used for abuse prevention. Turnstile uses its Managed mode without pre-clearance; see the Turnstile privacy information. Browser and provider behavior may vary; we do not claim the service never uses cookies or other device information.

YouTube players remain unloaded until you choose “Load YouTube video”. Loading one connects your browser to YouTube and related services, which may receive IP address, browser information and viewing activity and use cookies or similar technologies, including for their own purposes. You can read without loading a player. Use “Stop YouTube video” to unload it. Stopping or reloading does not erase cookies already set; use browser controls to block or clear them. Google explains YouTube processing in its privacy policy. This choice concerns that player and does not give consent to advertising elsewhere on our website.

Advertising remains off. Any future advertising or additional tracking requires a separate assessment, notice changes and appropriate choices before activation. We do not claim Google CMP certification or legal certification of this website.

Retailer and affiliate links

Some articles link to retailers or shopping services and a purchase through an affiliate link may earn us a commission. Following a link takes you to that provider, which may receive link/referral and connection information and apply its own privacy practices. Read our affiliate disclosure and the retailer’s notice.

Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or obtain a portable copy of information, object to legitimate-interest processing, or withdraw consent. Rights can have legal exceptions. Use the contact form to exercise them; we respond within the time required by the law applicable to your request and explain any lawful refusal.

Where EU/EEA, UK or Swiss data protection law applies, you may complain to your competent supervisory authority, including your EEA authority, the UK Information Commissioner or the Swiss FDPIC. Our USA establishment and worldwide accessibility do not alone determine which territorial rules apply.

Automation and security

We do not use your enquiry to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you. Turnstile and rate controls automatically reject suspected spam or excessive submissions, so a submission can fail verification; you can retry later. We use HTTPS, private inbox access and abuse controls, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We update this notice when our processing changes. Notice revision: r75-20261016.
