Editorial Standards and Corrections

How Reviews Inside checks product identity, corrections, source evidence and review-method claims.

ReviewsInside operates ReviewsInside.com. Product reviews are most useful when they identify the product under discussion accurately and distinguish source information from actual firsthand testing.

Product names and specifications

Product names, model numbers, sizes and configurations should match the supporting article content. When a title and the article disagree, the discrepancy is checked against available source material before correction. A shared product name is not sufficient grounds to merge or delete two articles.

Evidence and testing claims

Manufacturer descriptions, published specifications, retailer information and firsthand product testing are different kinds of evidence. A statement that a product was personally purchased, unboxed, measured or tested needs to be supported by an actual record of that activity. Readers should not interpret every historical article as a verified hands-on test.

Corrections and incomplete content

When a source article is incomplete or its product identity is disputed, we may temporarily withdraw it from category recommendations while preserving its address for review. The original source record is retained during the migration audit.

To report an error, use our contact form. Please provide the article URL, the passage you question and evidence that helps us investigate.

Commercial links

Some reviews have affiliate links. The potential to earn a commission does not establish the accuracy of a product claim or prove physical testing. See our affiliate disclosure.
